Lifestyle Image Ingest
DRY RUNMatches lifestyle images to products by folder category + filename, writes to lifestyle_image / lifestyle_gallery, and attaches color-specific images to variant galleries for PDP swatch hover.
⚠ ZIP must be split into parts ≤500 MB each
Your "Lifestyle Pictures.zip" is ~4 GB — the backend has a memory limit that prevents processing files this large in one shot. You need to split it into smaller ZIPs first, then run this ingest on each part.
How to split on Mac:
cd ~/Downloads # Creates part-01.zip, part-02.zip, etc. (~400MB each) zip -s 400m "Lifestyle Pictures.zip" --out lifestyle-split.zip
How to split on Windows:
# Use 7-Zip: right-click ZIP → 7-Zip → Add to archive # Set "Split to volumes, bytes": 400M
Then upload each part to Google Drive, get a direct link for each, and paste it here one at a time. The ingest is safe to run multiple times — it won't duplicate images already processed.
55 = balanced · 70 = conservative
Required for single files. ZIP uploads auto-detect SKU from each filename.
